Karim Benzema came to the rescue for Real Madrid on Tuesday with a late goal to earn a 2-1 win over Sporting.
Raphael Varane had given the reigning European champions the lead in the first half of their Champions League game in Portugal, but an 80th minute penalty from Adrien Silva puleld the hosts level.
However, Benzema was on hand to ensure Zinedine Zidane's men can still finish top of Group F by grabbing the late winner.
