Conte on a high: Hazard-inspired Chelsea humiliate Everton 5-0 to seal fifth straight win, leapfrogging City to go top of the pile ROB DRAPER AT STAMFORD BRIDGE: Chelsea ran riot on Saturday night with a 5-0 victory over Everton to go top of the Premier League table. Eden Hazard scored a double.
So this wasn’t in the script. Certainly not six weeks ago when Arsenal swept past an inept Chelsea and certain bookmakers decided not to take bets on Antonio Conte’s future.
Maybe at the start of the season a brave few contended that the team responsible for worst defence of the title in history might do considerably better this season, given they had no European football to distract them.
Still, not many had them top of the league by Bonfire Night. And fewer still would have imagined they would be there playing the kind of joyful, stylish football which Roman Abramovich has always craved. In the stands, the owner smiled down on it all.
Manchester United's Memphis Depay may go first in Old Trafford clear-out as Jose Mourinho gets tough
.
Memphis Depay is set to leave Old Trafford in January, starting an exodus of Manchester United’s fringe players before the beginning of next season.
Depay, a £25million signing just 17 months ago, accepts he has no future under Jose Mourinho after he was left at home when United lost against Fenerbahce in Istanbul on Thursday night.
The Holland winger has only made one start this season, in the EFL Cup against Northampton, and wants to make a fresh start in January.
Depay is typical of the players who have upset Mourinho by failing to provide more competition for first-team places. The United boss feels his message is not getting through, leading to an apathy and lack of intensity within the squad.
Mourinho publicly criticised his team’s lack of focus following the 2-1 defeat by Fenerbahce, when Morgan Schneiderlin, Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian all struggled.
They are unlikely to stay beyond this season and will be among a number of players to be offloaded along with Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The Association of Beauty Pageant and Fashion Exhibition Organization of Nigeria has called for proper investigation into Chidinma Okeke’s sex tape scandal
– They are insisting that the ex-beauty queen must be made to face the law as stated in the constitution
The Association of Beauty Pageant and Fashion Exhibition Organization of Nigeria, ABPFEON, has called for an investigation into the controversial exposure of former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke’s sex tape.
It will be recalled that the Police had debunked reports that it arrested a group of men allegedly behind the leaked lesbian sex video of former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke.
The reports had made the rounds on Thursday that the 7-man gang was apprehended in Enugu.
However, DailyPost reported that the Enugu State Police spokesperson, Ebere Armaraizu, had debunked the claim, saying, “I’m not aware of this. No, no, no! No arrest of such was made in Enugu.
“I’m in the Command and if anything like that happened, I should know and make it available,” he said.
Following the police’s comment, the ABPFEON made its stand known, insisting that the ex-beauty queen must be made to face the law.

Hillary rolls Beyoncé and Jay Z out to help steady her rocky campaign and urge millennials to vote for her
Hillary Clinton appeared on stage with Jay Z and Beyonce in front of a huge crowd in Cleveland on Friday night in a bid to help her rocky campaign.
The Democratic candidate carried on her use of celebrity endorsements by bringing out the huge stars in the key battleground state of Ohio, with just four days until voters head to the ballot boxes.
She filled a big arena and had thousands screaming on their feet after a week dogged by the FBI investigation into her emails – but it was the celebrity power couple who stole the show.
The pair performed a string of their hits and gave the former first lady their backing.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump slammed Hillary's effort to inject star power into her campaign while on the road in Pennsylvania.
He told the crowd: 'I'm here all by myself... No guitar, no piano, no nothing'.

Alexis Sanchez admits he is looking forward to the upcoming North London derby
This will be the Chilean's fifth derby since joining in 2014, but the magnitude of the occasion has not been lost on him.
"It's going to have everything," he said. "It'll be a high-intensity match with plenty of hustle and bustle. I've played them a few times now and the first time I didn't know what to expect. They told me I had to start strong, and I remember I got taken out early on but then told myself that wouldn't happen again.
"We like to dominate possession and pass the ball around, but we'll have to be wise to the counter-attack [on Sunday]."
Alexis admits that he is all too aware of the importance of the result, not least to the Arsenal supporters.
"Yes, fans do come up to me and say to win this game, it's a game that they want to see us win at all costs," he said. "They're a massive rival. My team-mates and I will leave everything on the pitch. The Arsenal fans are amazing supporters and that really helps me to perform well and want to give them something to celebrate."
